Hello world!
Sooooo embarrassing as this may turn out to be I am still determined to prove or disprove a theory that tanning beds can help or heal skin rashes HAHA! Two weeks ago I developed a rash that turns out to be Pityriasis Rosea A.k.a Christmas tree rash a.k.a shitty itchy red bitch you can't kick out of your house! And no one can get it from you so enemies are in luck muahahahaha. Anyway I'm just a bored housewife and I set out to find me a wonderful job then a couple days before my first day I have itchy red bitch you can't kick out of your house .
I will admit I lashed out a bit when my dermatologist informed me that there is no known cause and thus no cure. It stays with you for 6 to 8 weeks and for some people longer. Ugly itchy red patches cover your torso mainly and in my case face neck and arms ugh. Hot showers, sweat and stress make it worse. This sucks! So I thought to myself ..if there is no cure I will find one! So I started my research :)
Milk baths :/ tried it...helps but then you have to shower 5 minutes after cause you smell like cow utters on a hot sweaty day. I'm staying away from steroidal creams and unnatural ways to heal because...gross. Next I tried Aromatherapy which I created a lovely combination of coconut oil 10 drops of lavender 4 chamomile 1 teatree and its stoping the itch and appearing to dry up the rash but I still have it and am on my third week and new areas are popping up. So back to the drawing board.
I started to do more research and found tanning beds helped a few people and 1 in particular cured the man in 1 week! I thought poppycock! Being extremely fair skinned, I tend to stay away from tanning beds and I live in Humboldt county ( arcata) so sun is limited. I thought about it all day and realized that going a few times won't kill me and I would like to know if it helps.. This begins a lovely journey!
I'm going to continue the coconut concoction to relieve itching and drink the detox tea every night but adding in a tan session every other day for five sessions and document every day plus take before and after photos .
P.s. I have been using oil and drinking tea for three weeks now and have had slow results of change so if this ugly itchy bitch of a rash leaves in 1 week by golly I will know it was the beds!
